Flower Aliens
HistoryThe origins of the original Flower Aliens are still unknown, and may remain that way forever. They are not officially known as Flower Aliens. The term was coined by Liam himself when he had to come up with a name for the mysterious creatures. They were not present in Liam and Mortis' time period of the 34th Century, but could be found on present day earth. Only one has found the ability to talk, but the rest show the mentality of animals.
The answer to these creatures' origins may lie as far back as the Egyptian period. A man later to become The Executive discovered a 'god' of sorts during an exploration of the Dashur Necropolis. This Flower Alien 'god' appears to be the first of the species, with the rest of the creatures - referred by the Executive as 'green mini-beasts' - possibly being just miniature copies. The origin of this Flower Alien 'god' is suggested to be the result of a sick experiment by the 'Dark Gods', who seem to be definite deities rather than creatures of gigantic stature like the Flower Alien 'god' is seen to be. There are two known types of Flower Alien. The first is the typical, wild Flower Aliens whose origins are anonymous. The second are a different, more aggressive breed, controlled by The Executive and Vision-X Industries. It is revealed later on that this second breed is actually ex-Time Agency branch workers who have been subjected to tortuous conversion. Liam suffers the first half of this process before escaping thanks to the trickle of humanity still available in the Flower Alien previously known to be Jerry Smith. |
Did you know? The Flower Aliens have been referred to as: "Turkeys" by Ben Goodlad, "Mr Blobby" by Danny Gould, "Slitheen/Absorbaloff Clommy things" by Agent Liam, before finally it is decided as a group decision to name them Flower Aliens. Their official name is still not yet known - The Executive refers to them as "Green Minibeasts".
